All these pics where taken at a Spitfire Proms concert at Belton House in Lincolnshire. As the Spitfire was flying overhead the English National Orchestra was playing '633 Squadron', the 'Theme from The Great Escape' and to finish 'The Dambusters March'.

It really was an incredible experience just hearing the Spitfire's engine combine with the music, as it dipped and rolled overhead.

I really enjoyed taking these pictures, it was part of my first outing with my new Canon EOS 400D, and these are the best (in my opinion) of the 200 or so I took on the day.

Thank you. We were sat in the middle of the field in front of the house and the Spitfire was flying pretty much right above us. I was getting laughed at a lot because I had the camera set to keep taking pictures once I hit the button, so as soon as the plane came close all you could hear from me was 'click, click, click, click' till it had gone past.
