Spitfire Proms
Sep. 4th, 2007 11:46 amAll these pics where taken at a Spitfire Proms concert at Belton House in Lincolnshire. As the Spitfire was flying overhead the English National Orchestra was playing '633 Squadron', the 'Theme from The Great Escape' and to finish 'The Dambusters March'.
It really was an incredible experience just hearing the Spitfire's engine combine with the music, as it dipped and rolled overhead.

I really enjoyed taking these pictures, it was part of my first outing with my new Canon EOS 400D, and these are the best (in my opinion) of the 200 or so I took on the day.
