Small Gods

peck72I've really enjoyed Radio 4's production of 'Small Gods'. For those of you who don't know the story, it is about a novice called Brutha, a member of the Omnian church, who finds the great god Om in his vegtable patch trapped in the body of a tortoise. Brutha then comes to the attention of Deacon Vorbis and becomes embroiled in his plans to expand the church's empire and to put himself at the top of it.
It has been abridged well (although the ending seemed a little rushed) and is very well performed. For anyone who likes Terry Pratchett, and for those who've never heard of him, it is well worth a listen.
To this end here are parts one and two for you.
I'm only going to put these two up for now as uploading is taking forever (they are 27.4Mb each and last about 30 minutes) and I don't know if anyone out there is actually interested in getting them. If you nab them then let me know in the comments and I'll post the other two parts. The links are only going to be live for 7 days or 25 downloads (whichever comes first) so don't hang around.
